Volleyball Canada - How to Create Competitive Categories

How to Create Competitive Categories

 

This task is completed by the NF. These categories will be used by the NF, P/TAs or Clubs to map their divisions/leagues.

 

 

1. Under Scheduling select "Manage Competitive Categories"
2. To add new  competitive categories
   1. Enter the name of the category
   2. Click "Create"
3. To Edit an existing Category
   1. Edit the Category label
   2. Click Save
   3. If desired, click Delete
4. Categories are now available for mapping divisions/leagues to the VC competitive categories.
5. To reorder the categories
   1. Click Order Competitive Categories
   2. Select appropriate order
   3. Click Order Competitive Categories

Once competitive categories are set and they are used by the Manage Leagues tool, it is recommended that these categories are not changed significantly.
