The player import may not import for various reasons. Please review your file for any of the issues below:
1. Player Birthdates
- Please verify that the birth date format for all players is constantly MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD.
- To complete this in Excel you right click on the column header and go to "Format Cells" and under Category choose Date.
- If you would like to set it to YYYY-MM-DD choose "English (Canada)" under "Locale(location):". Choose the YYYY-MM-DD format.
- Once your format is selected in Excel click OK then save your file as a .CSV file.
Please note that it is suggested that before you save your file the last step should be your date format.
2. Special Characters
- Some special characters can cause issues with the player import including é and `.
- Due to the file being a comma seperated file commas should not be used in the import file.
- Slashes (/ or \ ) should not be used in player names fields
3. CSV file
- Files must be save as CSV (Comma delimited)
- If you are using a mac the file must be saved as a CSV Windows or CSV MS Dos file.
4. Mandatory Fields
- First name, last name and date of birth are mandatory fields.
