Import Venues

 

GOALLINE is pleased to introduce the ability to import venues into your site. The import can be used to add or update existing venues.

 

Who can use it?

Any website admin with permission to Add-Edit-Delete Venues may use the Import Venues tool.

If your organization is part of a network with shared venues, this feature may not be available. Please contact your association to add venues as needed.

 

How does it work?

  1. Master Menu, Scheduling
  2. Click Import Venues
  3. Click to download a sample import file or create your own CSV file
    1. Required Fields: Venue Name, Region (if enabled)
    2. Optional Fields:
  4. Chose File, browse for your import file
  5. Click Continue
  6. Match your columns to the available fields in the GOALLINE system
  7. Disregard any unnecessary fields
  8. If your file has a header row (title row) select No for "Import the first (highlighted) row's values?"
  9. If updating existing venues, select Yes for "Update the records of existing venues?"
  10. Click to Verify Imported Data
  11. Confirm the information shown is correct
  12. Click Continue to Map Regions (if regions are enabled)
  13. Select the appropriate region from the system dropdown
  14. Click Complete Venue Import
