Waitlists for Individual Registration
What are Individual Waitlists?
Using registration forms to collect registration data for players, coaches, officials, registrants, or volunteers, waitlists allow participants to register onto a waitlist automatically when a program is full.
How are they enabled?
Contact GOALLINE's Support Team at support@goalline.ca to enable the ability to manage individual wait lists.
Once enabled, each program you offer on any registration form can be set to automatically compile a waitlist once the maximum number of registrations allowed has been reached.
- Within each program, set the maximum number of participants.
- Check the box to "Enable Waitlist" for any programs that you wish to offer a wait list.
- Participants will see that the program is full when registering against the form.
- Participants registering onto the waitlist will not be required to pay the program fee at the time of registration.
How do I Manage my Waitlist?
- Using the person search tool (Find Player, for example), select your registration search criteria as usual. For more information on searching, check out our FAQ here.
- Check the box to "Show Waitlists Only" before clicking to run your search.
- Waitlisted registrations will be listed. Using the available checkbox next to each participant, select those that you wish to invite off of the waitlist. Click to invite those participants.
- Set the invitation's expiration date and invite. Participants will receive an email notification with a link to register. Even though the program is full to others, invited participants will be able to proceed to pay for the program and complete the registration.
